Car paint question?

to paint a car, what is the difference between gloss and metallic car paint? i looked at cars with the same color just one with gloss and one with metallic and i see no difference.Car paint question?
gloss finishes are made by a thick see through coating called clear coat. Metallic finishes are made by fine metal dust sprayed on the cars. Look closer and if its a true metalic paint job the paint will sparkle and the clear coat will shine.Car paint question?
Not sure I understand your question. Many automotive paints have metallic basecoats, (looks like very, very fine glitter embedded in the paint color) and others are simply color with a clear topcoat while still others are applied with a base, then colored pigment with clear over that. The differences are mainly there because of buyer preferences as most all paints used today are urethane based and very, very resilient to sun and weather.
the metalic has microscopic metal particals in the paint. Whereas the gloss is just the paint
there should be no difference , you should be able to get a glossy finish with a metallic or regular paint metallic paint is simply a color with small bits of metal to create an effect
Metallic paint will peel faster than gloss paint will. Go with the gloss paint to get your money's worth.
Add some p e n i s juice
the difference is u suck! lol.
