Surprisingly Enough, That Thick Vegetable Grease Stuff In A Can Will Work. Crisco Or The Like. A Little Patience Is All That's Required And Look Ma!

No Damage To Paint.

A Gentle Car Wash Cleaner Afterward And You're Done.Hi is there any product that will remove (scotch tape) from a car that will guarantee no damage to the paint?
its me again, has this tape bene there a long long time? cause wd40 should do it no problem. the chemicals in the wd40 soften the glue and I removed decals from the sides of trailers with the heat trick.
Use your hairdryer on high setting to melt the adhesive of the tape and it will fall off easily. It won't damage the paint. Then give the car a good wax.
I would use kerosene or WD-40 , they both will cut the adhesive. Once you get the adhesive cleaned off, wax the area.
WD40 is supposed to work. Try a test in a non visible part of the car. Let it sit a few minutes, then wipe off.
Goo gone or go to your local automotive paint supply store and buy some adhesive remover.
