WHAT IS THE AVERAGE PAINT JOB PRICE ON A SMALL CAr?

just curious.. I was thinking about painting my echo a different color.. but not sure on pricing.WHAT IS THE AVERAGE PAINT JOB PRICE ON A SMALL CAr?
Professional job, very little if any body work-1200$1500$Quality paint and one year warrantry! Custom job1500$-infinity depending on demands on Painter and Body-man. Maaco 200$-500$ might get lucky and get a decent one but most likely not.

You should get what you pay for! Anything under 1000$ do not look for perfection as this would be an insult to anyone who has ever tried to make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t.WHAT IS THE AVERAGE PAINT JOB PRICE ON A SMALL CAr?
Actually Macco does a really good job. Their are yellow taxis in front of my work and on the side it says ';This car was painted by macco'; and the cars look really really good. No fading or chipping of the paint.

cheapest between 200-250.a good painjob is around 400-450.
if the original paint is in good condition then leave it alone because a repaint is not as good as the original paint unless you pay for lots of prep. work that costs more than the car is worth.
$ 190 - GOOD $ 290 - SUPER JOB $ 450
all depends how high of a quality of paint you choose and how much body work is required
First of all , don't type so LOUD!

Secondly, paint jobs depend on who paints it and how good a quality job they do, as well as, your choice in color/paint could cost several hundred dollars itself, not counting reducer, supplies, etc.

All colors of paint are damn expensive!

I'd say $1500 bucks should be low end job price, but more money buys a better look.

They may cut you a deal if you help by removing headlights, grille, tailstuff, blinkers, etc, and help with the sanding.

Do some research where you live.

Ask friends who to get and call bodyshops for prices.
Call paint shops and ask them.
A proper complete paint job will run at least $1500 if you change color. This is because to do it right they pretty much have to be gutted to get in the door jambs, fenders, trunk/hatch, etc. Very labor intensive. Not really worth it because changing the color won't increase resale value.
