Car paint help!!?

I have a mitsuebishi eclipse 2003 and the paint on the hood, top and tail of the car are staring to fade really bad. I plan on keeping the car for another 3-5 years, so i want to have those areas painted so it looks better and when i trade it in down the road I get a little more for it. I dont want to spend alot of money either. Does anyone know if maaco would be good or any other major body shop place that would do a nice job but not very expensive?Car paint help!!?
Wow, that ';Srena'; really knows her car stuff! It is probably the ';Clearcoat'; and not the actual paint its self that is fading. If a good professional cleaning and buffing does not restore you cars finish to a level you accept, then I would suggest that you have it repainted at a Mitsubishi dealership's body shop.

My son had Maaco do a $2400.00 paint job on his custom pick-up and we weren't impressed with their work, and by all means don't even consider Earl Scheib.Car paint help!!?
like srena said , i would take it to a good detail shop and get them to buff it out , if it's a dark car tell them (nicely ) you don't want any swirl marks either . good luck
They only problem with Maaco is that you get what you pay for... if you get a $300 paint job... then it will look like junk.... go see what they will charge for doing the job, tell them you want it to look like new... not like some kid used a spray can on your car.....
If it is faded and not peeling, it might be just oxidation. A fine to medium rubbing compound and a buffer should help. Apply a polish afterwards. An auto parts store should have it on hand. I would try that first.
