Race Car paint jobs?

Is it me or is the lack of tobacco advertising having a poor effect on the paint jobs on cars and bikes... ? Rossi's M1 is sponsored by Fiat?? they just painted it white and wrote FIAT in big letters on it... At least CAMEL looked cool... not to mentioned the F1 honda's with that planet earth look... bring back lucky strike... makes the cars faster as well don't you know...Race Car paint jobs?
To me the best paint scheme on a race car didn't have anything to do with tobacco. It was on the Mello Yello car in the early 90's.Race Car paint jobs?
yeah
the sponsors can get around the advertising ban just look at the gauloise Yamaha that Rossi rode a few years back all it had was GO!!!!!!!!! on the fairing but everyone with half a brain knew it was sponsored by Gauloise and even though Marlboro is not on any fairings now any bike painted red /white will be recognised by the colour scheme I was never influenced by any advert on a car when I used to smoke anyway the B.S.B still let RIZLA use the brand name on the bike and RIZLA,s are used not only for ciggies so how is that fair ?
V8 Supercars have the madest paint jobs and no cigarette sponsorship in site.

i like the ';earth'; car. i saw it first in racer mag. and it was hard to make it all out at first, but now i know what i'm looking at it's cool.
You are so right!! I think it's more parent's are taking their children to the races.
i agree compleatly, as far as camel and marlbro go i thought the lucky strike paint job sucked, but to each their own, and no paint doesnt make them go fast but it deffinatly does make it LOOK fast,
i disagree with you there, just look at the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. Red Bull and STR are pretty cool looking cars too. paint doesn't make cars go faster.
