Removing paint off a car?

I have a old car I want to restore but the car needs to be repainted so I would want to change the colour to something different.

What is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to remove all the paint from the car?

Will I need to remove the primer to or just the paint? I am planning to fill in the rust and dents with bondo to cut down on some costs.Removing paint off a car?
If you do it the easy fast and cheap way you're paint job will look easy fast and cheap.

If you change the color it will be more work , you will have to be more thorough in your sanding and you will have to seal the old paint.

You don't have to remove all the paint , but you will have to rough it all up, and in the places where you use filler you will have to sand all the way to the metal. Also if you change colors you will have to paint the door jambs and all the hidden places, but if you stick with the original color, you won't have to.Removing paint off a car?
If the rust is all the way through you need to replace the metal with new quarter panels or rocker panels or what ever parts are rusted out. As far as sanding you need to feather edge all the bad spots in the paint and give the whole thing a good sanding. Bondo is used only to make the welded repairs smooth so you can't see it when it is painted. There is quite an art to get a good job when doing body work. Good luck and take your time, don't try to rush it.
