It is a DuPont developed product and it is called chameleon Paint ';ChromaLusion'; is their trademarked brand.
It can look fantastic, or like crap depending on who shoots it. It can cost around 3 or 4 grand in materials alone for a full size auto!

crome illusion, flip flop paint there may be other names also pearl added into paint
it is called pearlesent paint.
