How do you get sap that fell on your car off of the paint without ruining it?

Go to your local car supply store...they sell a couple different kinds of solutions that are safe for your paint and finish..

It has been a while since I need one, but I think the one I used when I had my car parked under a huge evergreen was called ';Bug Out';...specifically made for bug, tar, and sap ';crust';...In either case, one of the guys at Pep Boys or Auto Zone should be able to recommend something, but also be sure to double check the label and see that it is safe to use and that you follow the instructions..How do you get sap that fell on your car off of the paint without ruining it?
I have found that a clay bar is the best for removing sap and other junk that gets stuck to the surface. If you go to any auto parts store they should be able to help you out.How do you get sap that fell on your car off of the paint without ruining it?
You can go to any drug store and buy a small bottle of medical grade alcohol that will wipe the sap off in an instant. Re wax the area on the car after your done. It will not harm the paint on your car.
use lots of water and dish soap...don't let soap dry or dry rub soapy water on a car....always get car wet before applying soap...make sure you put on a good wax afterwards..then you should just use high pressure water to clean car up to 4 months
