Car paint code?

does anyone know the paint code for a red toyota yaris (1999) or could you tell me where to find it, thanksCar paint code?
The colour code is the three digit-code on the chasis plate on the bottom line of the VIN plate located on the right hand side in the engine compartment. if your still stuck look in the owners hand book. : )Car paint code?

It says: Toyota 3-4-7-10-19 but I am not sure if its for RED though.

if you just pop the bonnet and have a look on the firewall you will se a small alium plate and it will say this vehicle has been passed then below all that jagen you will se paint/trim under each of these will be some letters and numbers like under trim ah41 under paint 03 or somthink similar just take the code a auto shop tey are able to mix the paint to the code hope you follow all that
Paint codes are stamped on the engine plate. Lift the bonnet you should find a silver plate stamped with the engine number, paint code, model number etc.
I'll take an educated guess at 3PO as the paint colour if its non-metallic. The paint code is on the chassis plate next to the part written C/TR. It will be three figures, the four figure code is the trim code (normally FBxx).
Just stop by a Toyota dealer that does repairs and they should be able to tell you the code. I would also think you could call them and get the info over the phone.
Bit tricky on the Yaris,but think you are refering to A base coat...pz446-c-3p10 Red Mettallic 3p1.This is available from a Toyota dealer in a pack with clear laquer.around a tenner and 48 hr delivery.


Save time and money the number is difficult to find,and as in many cases withToyota it is better to go to the dealership for excellent service and keen pricing.
Get your VIN and call a toyota dealer.





There is likely more than one code for RED.


The same color may have 8 diffrent names depending on the vehicle is on.... but by the same token there could be 5 or 6 shades of red available in any given model year.





If they are unable to get it for you, you may have to go to an auto body shop and have the color matched.
When I had a Mazda....the code was on the edge of the bonnet....(hood if you're US. ). Try having a look around that area.
Toyota paint codes are indeed 3 digit codes. If your car is Red it will start with a ';3';, Black will start with a ';2';, Silver with a ';1';, Green with a ';6'; and so on.





I don't think the yaris was available in the 3P1 code mentioned earlier. It was a brighter red, so suggest it is 3P0.
