Car paint price?

i want to paint my 1984 chevy s10 black, it is black right now but its not as shiny as it used to be and its just time for a new paint job, how much would it cost to get a good all black paint job done to my truck? i want it to look like a new cars paint, would it cost less if i did all the sanding myself before i took it to get painted?Car paint price?
really your better off letting the body shop do all the work,because they really wont knock off any on price,it should cost around 800-1000 bucks to get it looking really good,that's with using real good paint,it cost a lot to do one these days,i bought 1000 bucks worth of paint and primer today to paint a full size Chevy suburban with,and that's just supplies,that's not counting all the body work that's to be done also,it cost lot these days though to get one painted,sometimes more than the vehicle is worth,good luck on it hope this helps.Car paint price?
a cheap way to do is go to a nearby store that sell tractor paint shouldnt be no more than 20 bucks it has clear coat in it already so u wont need anything else. o that 20 to 40 bucks a gallon. it works well what i paint with
