New car paint?

So some lady decided to scrape up one side of my bmw with her door. I had the paint shop match the paint and they had to re paint the whole side. It matches but you can tell its fresh paint and on the hood its not. What if anything can i do to try to make the hood shine as new as the side. Another thing that sucks its a chameleon paint,New car paint?
What you can do is clay and wax your hood (and the rest of your car) - or you can have someone do this for you.

Claying is taking a clay bar and water or the special 'clay' cleaner that will remove the dirt and other impurities that are stuck in the paint. If you rub the back of your hand across your hood, you'll probably notice that it's all rough. Once you clay your car (then re-polish and re-wax your car), the paint will now feel as smooth as a baby's butt.

I did this on my Red 1995 Jeep a few years back, and the paint looked brand new... and you *know* how red fades! I was totally amazed at how well it worked.

It'll take a little bit of elbow grease, or $$ if someone does it for you... but well worth the time or money.New car paint?
There r some products that you can buy to make your car shine
You can have it buffed with compounds and it will look good has new. They sell kits and auto zone. Or you can go back to the body shop and have them buff only the hood for you, it shouldn't cost that much.
